An Indonesian teen, covered head to toe in thick black hair, is rejecting medical treatment because he believes it is a blessing from God.

Muhammad Raihan, 13, is revered as a Hindu God by villagers because he is covered in hair caused from rare genetic condition Werewolf Syndrome.

The student whose hands, legs, back and stomach is all covered in hair, also faces name-calling from some peers who liken him to Hindu monkey god Hanuman. But the devout Muslim, who lives with his widowed mum and four siblings in Mamburung village in North Kalimantan, is unfazed with the name-calling and considers himself to be God’s special child.
