These Bengaluru Men Show Us the Right Way to Beard it
The Bangalore Beard Club hosted a competition for bearded men, cutting across the lines of caste or creed.
It wasn’t a coincidence that so many bearded men came together at UB City in Bengaluru at the same time. On 26 November, the Bangalore Beard Club hosted a beard and moustache competition for bearded men, cutting across the lines of caste and creed. The result: Terrific visuals!
The club, started in May 2016 by Vishal Singh, a wedding planner and event manager, aims to unite men not within the narrow realms of bodily masculinity, but also encompassing the emotional, mental and familial definition behind the term.
The community believes that sporting a beard is empowering.
To them, it’s not just a cosmetic commitment but a mental state of being. Do fellow beardsmen agree?
