As land continues to shrink and seal-level rises unabated, Dutch people have come up with a clever design solution to beat the problem.

Architects in Netherlands are building houses on water. These floating houses have all the comforts of a house built on land. In recent times, many floating neighbourhoods have sprung up in harbours across the country.

But can these be implemented in other parts of the world?
