A group of youngsters in Oslo have found a terrifying way to keep cool - by leaping off a bridge into the water.

A group of adventurous youngsters have created a terrifying way to keep cool – leaping off a bridge and swinging into the water below.

Stian Samsonsen, 29, an engineer from Oslo, Norway, set up a 14m high rope swing on a bridge connecting one of the islands in Oslo fjord after his friend Henning, had the idea in a dream.

Next day the lads were taking turns to fling themselves out over the water, with many taking the opportunity to show off their aerobatic skills as they somersaulted into the waves.

But as one unfortunate chap found out, the swing could be unforgiving to those whose technique fell short of the mark.
