Boss kaun tha malum hai kya?  According to filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh there is only one boss - RD Burman and we can’t agree more. On the music maestro’s birth anniversary, Sujoy tells us how Pancham da inspired him so much that he dedicated his first directorial debut Jhankaar Beats to the one and only RDB.

The filmmaker says, “I wanted to make my first film based on something I had good knowledge about and was close to my heart. So being a Bengali, two things that I thought about was Kolkata and RD Burman. I have grown up with his songs, so I kept him in mind and picked few characters from Kolkata who are obsessed with him and placed them in Mumbai.”
