Student Goes Missing in JNU After Altercation With ABVP Members
Missing student, Najeeb Ahmad, allegedly slapped a student which lead to clash with ABVP activists.
A Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student and AISA activist has gone missing under mysterious circumstances, police said on Sunday.
Najeeb Ahmad, pursuing MSc in Biotechnology and resident of room 106 of Mahi Mandavi hostel, went missing after an alleged altercation with a few students on Saturday night, they added.
While All India Student Association (AISA) accuse ABVP of forcing Najeeb to vacate the hostel, ABVP claim that Najeeb has left the premises willingly. ABVP leader Saurabh Sharma also accused JNUSU of communalising the issue to gain political mileage.
