Olympic silver medallist Yogeshwar Dutt, infuriated by the Uri attacks says he wants India to discontinue all forms of relations with Pakistan, including sports ties.

He says:

Pakistan is a country which doesn’t respect humanity. Human lives don’t matter for it. It’s not right to have any form of relations with such a country.

Yogeshwar also commemorated those martyred in the attack and states that they deserve more respect than sportspersons.

Fallen soldiers deserve more respect than a sportsperson. Their families should be given more compensation, least Rs 1-2 crore.
