Fans and friends of Salman Khan have hailed the Bombay High Court’s verdict of acquitting him of all charges. His friend and businessman Zafar Sareshwala said he was framed and today’s HC verdict proves that.

Whereas lawyers expressed disappointment at the judgement. Senior advocate Abha Singh said it was a sad day for the criminal justice system of the country.

Seven months after superstar Salman Khan was sentenced to five years jail by a sessions court in the 13-year-old hit-and-run case, the Bombay High Court today acquitted him of all the charges, holding that the prosecution had failed to prove he was driving the vehicle after having consumed alcohol.
