A Mumbai sessions court will pronounce its verdict on the hit-and-run case today against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who, if convicted, could face up to 10 years in jail. Salman likely to meet his counsel before reaching sessions court.

Only the lawyers, media and the court staff will be allowed to be present.

Security has been beefed up at the Mumbai sessions court which will pronounce its verdict on Salman Khan who, if convicted, could face up to 10 years in jail.

49-year-old Bollywood actor Salman Khan is accused in a 12-year-old case. On September 2002, the actor’s SUV rammed onto a roadside bakery in Bandra, Mumbai. One person was killed and four others were injured.

Salman’s family and friends have already reached the court.

Salman likely to meet his counsel before reaching sessions court himself.

The judgement in the over 12-year-old case, whose trial saw many twists and turns, can make or mar the career of the actor on whom many investments ride on. Some of which are over Rs 200 crore.
