He made his international debut at the age of 16 in 1989 and 200 Tests, 436 ODIs and over 34,000 runs later, Sachin Tendulkar became the legend of Indian cricket in 2013.

With over 26 million ‘Tendulkarites’ on Facebook, 15.6 million on Twitter and 6.2 million on Instagram, Sachin has stayed in touch with his fans through social media and endorsements.

Sachin’s autobiography Playing it My Way released in 2014 and went on to enter the Limca Book of Records for being the best-selling adult hardback.

From playing for the Mumbai Indians, Sachin went on to mentor the IPL franchise and also became the co-owner of Indian Super League team Kerala Blasters and Premier Badminton League team Bengaluru Blasters.

In March this year, he ventured into digital media with the app ‘100 MB’ dedicated just to him and tried his hands on Bollywood with his biopic Sachin - A Billion Dreams.

It may have been four years since he left the pitch, but Sachin Tendulkar is, and will always remain the ‘God of Indian Cricket’.
