The telecom operator has finally announced its plans and promise of voice calls to everyone.
Reliance Jio 4G will be officially launching from 5 September onwards. Jio will introduce 10 tariff plans starting Rs 149 a month and going up to Rs 4,999 per month. Here is a detailed list of plans and what they will come bundled with.
Reliance Jio promises speeds up to 135 Mbps to its premium customers, something that was also announced by Airtel earlier this week.
Reliance Jio 4G Platinum customers will get the chance to interact with customer support via video. These services will be provided to customers with quick-time redressal.
Today’s Reliance Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been all about the imminent announcement of Jio 4G services, and its plans in the country.

All Jio 4G customers will be able to make free voice calls for life. In addition to this, Jio 4G will not levy any roaming charges for calls.
Reliance is also offering a host of services like Students’ Offer, wherein they get 25 percent more data than the limit of their chosen plan.
The company also has a slew of enterprise packages, that will primarily cater to businesses and startups, providing them them with fast-speed internet connectivity.
Reliance has officially announced that Jio 4G and its supporting services will be available for free as Jio Welcome Offer from 1 September to 31 December 2016.
With plans starting from Rs 50/GB, Jio clearly has existing players like Airtel and Vodafone under the mat. The Reliance-owned telecom operator wants India to become an Internet Protocol (IP) country in the coming years.
