The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) was slammed by former player Kirti Azad and petitioner in Indian Premier League match fixing case Aditya Verma, for suggesting that the ongoing India vs New Zealand series maybe scrapped.

The Lodha Panel was earlier accused by the board of asking the banks to freeze their accounts, and the former cleared the air by saying that the banks misinterpreted their directive, as they only meant to freeze the money transferred from board to the state bodies and it had nothing to do with the routine expenditures of cricket’s highest body in India.
