US President Barack Obama, on Sunday, laid a wreath at the Pentagon to mark the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Nearly 3,000 people died when hijacked planes rammed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field near Shanksville in 2001. It is considered to be the deadliest attack on American soil.
