Known as the most accessible CM, Mr Oommen Chandy’s alleged ‘closeness’ to Saritha Nair, the owner of a fraud solar panel company has rocked his reputation. While his government is seeking votes in the name of development projects started in his term, the opposition has managed to keep corruption at the centre of the election debates and campaigning.
