No Jail for Salman Khan: Lawyer Extremely Satisfied With Verdict 

Salman Khan’s lawyer Amit Desai said they were satisfied with the verdict and it had come as a huge relief for him.

The Bombay High Court, on Thursday, acquitted Bollywood star Salman Khan of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case – in which he was convicted and sentenced to five years’ imprisonment by a sessions court.

While speaking to the media, Salman’s lawyer Amit Desai said they were extremely satisfied with the verdict and that it had come as a huge relief for Salman Khan, who had been tried and scrutinised for 13 years.
