A youth was brutally thrashed by villagers for meeting his alleged lover at her house in Satna’s Rampur area in Madhya Pradesh. The villagers accused the youth, identified as Sadiq Khan, of having an affair with a married woman.
The alleged couple were was tied to a tree and the villagers rained blows on the man. The thrashing stopped only upon the arrival of police. Cases have been registered against the villagers under various sections of the IPC.
