Ever since Yogi Adityanath has assumed office as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, the sadhus of the state have shown great zeal and enthusiasm. Usually, sadhus are stereotyped with the trident or ‘kamandal’ but these sadhus have gone digital. They check your ‘kundli’ on smartphones and give you blessings over Whatsapp.
Many such sadhus sent their messages via Whatsapp to The Quint to express their enthusiasm about Yogi Adityanath being appointed Chief Minister. Some even said that they hope Yogi Adityanath becomes Prime Minister of the country one day.
