A day after his scathing article criticising the government for making the economy worse, BJP leader Yashwant Sinha said that he was one of the biggest supporters of GST earlier.

He said the government should have thoroughly thought of the impact of note ban and GST on the economy before implementing them.

He added that maybe Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Piyush Goyal know more about the economy than he does, and so they think that India is the backbone of the world’s economy. Sinha said that he disagrees with them.
