People paying Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes for buying items like fuel, grocery, train tickets and medicines worth as less as Rs 20 or Rs 100 was the usual sight across petrol pumps, hospitals and railway stations since the ban on Tuesday late night. We went around the city to ask the hyperventilating janta what has changed since last night.
