Ahead of the Assembly elections, The Quint approached Punjab’s budding weightlifters with a very simple question: What would they do if they were to become the chief minister? The answers, however, weren’t all that simple.

The beefy young men at Jalandhar’s Guru Gobind Singh Stadium rued a "lack of purpose" among Punjab's unemployed youngsters. That, they said, was not making the drug menace in the state any better.
