Speaking at the launch of a book titled ‘India @ 70, Modi @ 3.5’ in New Delhi on 28 September, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley took to the podium to address the BJP leader Yashwant Sinha and others’ accusations against him of contributing to the economic slowdown.

Breaking his silence on criticism levelled by the former BJP finance minister in an article, Jaitley called him a “job applicant at 80 years, who has forgotten his record as finance minister and is commenting on persons rather than policies”.

Sinha also said that if the current Finance Minister was so worried about black money, then what has he done about the Panama Papers revelations and the black money in offshore accounts.
