Friendship knows no boundaries, it’s never based on colour, race or appearance. Friendship is a bond that just happens. Such is the story of Anand and Roshan, who share a unique bond. This Dev Diwali, their friendship became a topic of discussion at the ghats in Varanasi.

One belongs to the streets of varanasi while the other has come across the borders, all the way from Israel.

Once strangers, but their little bud of friendship that has bloomed recently will make you feel as if they were made to be friends. It seems like they have known each other for ages.

The two met at a music concert.

The two friends are music lovers, and struggling to make a place for themselves. In pursuit of a musical career, Anand had been to Dharamshala a few months ago. It was here that he met Roshan. Their friendship was such that Roshan came to Varanasi to see Dev Diwali when Anand invited him.

While Anand plays a flute, Roshan is passionate about singing and playing guitar. Apart from playing music, Roshan knows several languages like Hebrew, Spanish, Arabic and English. Now Anand is teaching him Hindi as well.

Not only this, Anand is also teaching the flute to his Israeli friend and learning Hebrew from him in return.

I love India very much. It settles in my heart. I want to travel all over India and want to make my band. For this, I will spend more time in Banaras.

Their friendship can definitely win hearts. They have a million dreams between them. But will the lights of the ghats illuminate their paths?
