Congress president Rahul Gandhi interacted with a gathering of the Indian Overseas Congress in Berlin, Germany where the audience questioned him on a variety of issues that ranged from politics, Congress’s strategy for 2019 Elections, trolls, to the role of women in political parties.

Addressing the audience, Gandhi thanked the diaspora for helping form a Congress government in Punjab and accused the RSS and the BJP of spreading hate and trying to divide the nation.

Earlier on Thursday, The Congress president also met German Parliamentarians Gerold Otten, Johannes Schraps, Omid Nouripour and Rene Springer and discussed with them domestic and international politics, jobs and trade, reported PTI.

During the second day of his two-day visit to Germany, he also walked through the ‘archives of German Members of Parliament’ today.

However, Gandhi's address to the Indian Overseas Congress in Berlin, on Thursday, could not be aired 'live' due to a technical glitch, the party had said.

In London, the Congress leader will be addressing students of the London School of Economics on Friday. And on Saturday, he will address a gathering of the Indian National Overseas Congress.
