There’s some scary news for all the egg lovers. The prices have hiked, with one egg costing between Rs 7 and Rs 7.5. In general, there has been a 40 percent increase in the price of eggs, a trend which is likely to continue into the next month at least.
While factors such as seasonal trends and its subsequent increase in demand for eggs is an annual occurrence, 2017’s hike problem seems to lie mainly in the implementation of GST.
