PM Modi Bats for ‘New India’ Via ‘P2-G2’: Nitin Gadkari

Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, after the meeting, spoke of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of social and economic equality in the country. He also said that the PM stressed on providing sustainable livelihood to the poor.

Elaborating on the Prime Minister’s ‘Mission 2022’, when India marks 75 years of Independence, Gadkari talked of adopting ‘P2, G2’ – Pro People, Pro Active and Good Governance.

He further said that earlier too, there were many policies launched to help the country, but “bad governance”, “socio-economic discrimination” and other reasons hampered the progress.

On the issue of triple talaq, the Union Minister informed that the PM said, “If there are social evils, the society should be woken up and efforts made to provide justice”.
