Patna Rajdhani Robbery: Six RPF Personnel Suspended

Three coaches of the Patna Rajdhani express were looted by unknown miscreants near Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadaura on Sunday. The robbers fled with cash and jewellery worth lakhs and were reportedly helped by a coach attendant of the Patna-bound express.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Railways PRO, Anil Saxena said investigations have been ordered into the incident and that around six Railway Police Personnel have been suspended.

Taking cognisance of the matter, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu assured a serious probe into the robbery. At least four FIRs have been registered by passengers in connection with the incident.
