Ninth Ceasefire Violation by Pakistan since 1 June

This is the 6th ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the last 72 hours.

Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Krishna Ghati and Nowshera sectors on early Monday morning.

The Indian Army is retaliating an indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars in Krishna Ghati, defence spokesperson, Lt Col Manish Mehta said.

This is the 9th ceasefire violation by Pakistan Army since 1 June and 6th in the last 72 hours.

In Nowshera, heavy and small arms were used by the Pakistan Army. “As a measure of precaution, roads in the area have been closed,” said NA Chowhan, SDPO, Nowshera.
