The Quint was on board the ‘Matdata Express’ bus, an Election Commission initiative in Uttar Pradesh to encourage people to cast their vote in the ongoing elections.
Singing peppy jingles of “Matdaan karein...” and performing nukkad natak across the state are young girls volunteering with the National Service Scheme (NSS).
They might still be ineligible to vote, but there is nothing stopping them from encouraging the electorate across different towns and cities.
