Janardhan Reddy Laundered Rs 100 Cr, Reads Suicide Note of Driver

Ramesh Gowda, a driver working for a Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) officer, allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday and accused Karnataka mining baron G Janardhan Reddy and the KAS officer of harassing him in his suicide note.

The deceased, who worked for special land acquisition officer (Bengaluru) Bheema Nayak, is said to have died after consuming poison.

In his suicide note, Gowda claimed that he knew about the means by which Janardhan Reddy laundered Rs 100 crore of black money, the report added. The note also alleged that Nayak received a 20 percent cut for helping Reddy launder the money.
