Veteran journalist Ajit Anjum, now runs a YouTube channel with a massive following, is facing FIR over his ground reports on Bihar’s electoral roll revision.

In an exclusive interview with The Quint, Anjum explains why his reporting made the Election Commission and local administration uneasy, counters accusations of disturbing communal harmony, and questions the intent behind using terms like 'Bangladeshi' and 'Rohingya' and who terms like “infiltrators” are truly meant for. He says attempts are being made to discredit him as 'just a YouTuber' despite his decades-long career in journalism. “More FIRs may come,” he says, “but I will continue to report the truth.”
