Dozens of government employees in Thiruvananthapuram carried out a demonstration by going half-naked to protest against the demonetisation move of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The video was shot on Friday and shows the men chanting and raising their fists in front of the district treasury.
According to a press release, issued on Friday night, the state treasuries had asked for a total fund of Rs 140.57 crore from the RBI, but had received only 99.83 crore till Friday evening.
22 treasuries in various parts of Kerala, which demanded up to Rs 50-80 lakh, received amounts below Rs 10 lakh only, it said, adding that three treasuries received no money due to the cash crunch.
