As India and Pakistan cricket teams clash in their Champions Trophy opener in Edgbaston, fans across India are doing everything possible to ensure that the ‘men in blue’ have a successful start to their title defence.

The country’s pride is at stake. A win against Pakistan is equivalent to a dip in the Ganga.

While fans performed special ‘pujas’ and ‘abhishekams’ in Gulbarga’s Koranti Hanuman Temple, the Lucknow Cricket Academy decided to light a 6-foot-tall incense stick.

Whenever there is a big match, the Lucknow Cricket Academy does something unique for team India. This agarbatti will remain lit for 24 hours. History will repeat itself. India will win again, as it has a balanced squad.
