In an exclusive interview to The Quint, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said that most trains run late due to fog. When he was asked why trains were mostly late in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, Prabhu replied:

Most of the Railway Ministers have come from Bihar or Uttar Pradesh. So did they ignore their own state?

The minister also added that the route of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal has the most traffic on it, and hence, it is tough to maintain it.
