The demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes has caused inconvenience to the entire nation, but a teenager in Varanasi was set free by kidnappers.

The 14-year-old was abducted hours before the announcement of demonetisation on 8 November, but was released as the kidnappers felt their ransom money would not be paid by the boy’s parents.

While the nation raises objection against PM Modi for this scheme, the victims parents thank him for the scheme.
