Arvind Kejriwal chup kyun hain?

This question has been addressed to Delhi Chief Minister by many, who’s seeking to come to office for another term in the upcoming Assembly elections, and has taken a back-seat regarding the unrest over anti-CAA protests in the national capital.

Why hasn’t Kejriwal, publicly and physically, been there and showed solidarity with those protesting against CAA in Delhi?

One of the prominent leaders to skip the Congress-initiated Opposition meeting on the Citizenship (Amendment Act), Kejriwal’s decision was in line with the Aam Aadmi Party’s “cautious” approach towards the protests against the CAA, despite voting against the Act in the House.

Except for a tweet by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia against Delhi Police’s attack on Jamia Millia Islamia’s students, the only AAP leader to openly support the anti-CAA protesters is Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan.

Kejriwal is also downplaying criticism of the CAA. On the occasions that he did speak out, he gave an economic rationale for his opposition.

The answer lies in the data that we are getting to you from the ground in this episode of Delhi Chaat Centre.
