Congress’ MCD Campaign Wasn’t Aggressive: Sheila Dikshit

Dikshit also alleged that she wasn’t asked to campaign for the Congress in the MCD elections by party high command.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday said the Congress’ campaign for elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ‘lacked aggression.’ When asked about her absence from the party’s campaign trail in Delhi, Dikshit asserted that she was never asked to do so by the high command.

Responding to questions surrounding the efficiency of EVMs, Dikshit remarked that a permanent solution needs to be provided to end speculation on the matter.
