A cab driver from Pune was thrashed in Mumbai for providing services during the Ola-Uber strike in Mumbai. The incident occurred on 26 October when cab drivers, who were on strike, lured the individual through booking a cab. The driver was then beaten up and forced to do sit-ups in his undergarments.

The drivers on strike later spread the video of the assault in their groups as a warning to other drivers. An FIR has been registered against four individuals and a police investigation is underway.
