Leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party, on 18 June, said that IAS officers in the capital had failed to appear for several meetings called by the Delhi Government, including those about the installation of CCTV cameras, mid-day meal schemes, fighting dengue, ration distribution, and more, and urged them to resume dispensing their duties.

The Delhi High Court heard a petition against the AAP’s protest, and adjourned the hearing in the matter to Friday, 22 June. The Court asked AAP under whose authority they protested inside the Lieutenant Governor’s residence.

AAP’s protest march to PM Modi’s residence on 17 June, as a part of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s ongoing dharna at the Lieutenant Governor’s office, was called off after being halted by police at Parliament Street.

"Delhi CM, sitting in Dharna at LG office. BJP sitting in Dharna at CM residence. Delhi bureaucrats addressing press conferences. PM turns a blind eye to the anarchy; rather nudges chaos & disorder. People of Delhi are the victims, as this drama plays out," he wrote on Twitter.
