Dare to Compete With This 103-Year-Old Record-Holding Swimmer?
The 103-year-old swimmer, holds the 1,500-metre freestyle record in her age category.
Japanese world record swimmer Mieko Nagaoka was seen training with her son Hiroyuki Nagaoka in Yanai Swimming school, Yanai city, Yamaguchi prefecture, Japan.
The 103-year-old swimmer, who took up the sport at the age of 82, holds the 1,500-metre freestyle record in her age category. With eyes set on another race, the swimmer trains twice a week.
She admits that the key to her training routine is “eating well" and "exercise."
"Trying [to do] my best," Nagaoka added modestly.
