After Aurangzeb Road was changed to APJ Abdul Kalam Azad Marg, there has been a demand from some sections (most notably former army chief VK Singh) to rename Akbar Road after Maharana Pratap.

The naming and renaming of landmarks has become another costly casualty of a fairly childish politics. The Quint decided to show you how the great kings themselves, a liberal Muslim and a staunch Hindu, would have reacted to the controversy around them.
