Tapes of phone discussions between former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi’s MLA son Amit Jogi, and current Chief Minister Raman Singh’s son-in-law Puneet Gupta reveal a possibility of bribery in the 2014 Assembly by-elections, according to a report by The Indian Express.

Victory in the by-poll would have confirmed Congress’ hold in the region. But a Congress leader was allegedly ready to compromise.
