Indians Send ‘Blood Appeal’ to UN to Declare Pak a Terrorist State

Earlier, a White House petition seeking to term Pak a state sponsor of terror gained a half a million signatures.

Activists in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, on Sunday wrote a petition with their blood to United Nations secretary general Ban Ki-Moon, calling for Pakistan to be declared a terrorist state.

The activists took to the streets to protest Islamabad’s continued support to terrorists carrying out attacks in India.

One of the activists, explaining the decision to use blood to write the petition, said: “Blood is the most important thing we have, and we are ready to shed it for India.”

Also on Sunday, a petition put up on the White House website seeking to designate Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism gained a record half a million signatures. This is five times the number needed to get a response from the Obama administration.
