The Australian captain Steve Smith said India’s young fast bowler Barinder Sran is an impressive prospect at the press conference ahead of the first ODI (January 12) between India and Australia.
Smith, who played with Sran for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League added that he has spoken about Sran’s abilities to his teammates.
Fast bowlers Joel Paris and Scott Boland will make their international debuts for Australia in the first one-day match against India in Perth on Tuesday.
The pair join Josh Hazlewood and seaming all-rounders Mitchell Marsh and James Faulkner in a pace-heavy attack at the WACA.
