Indian ODI Squad Announced; Shami, Ashwin Rested, Gambhir Ignored

Gautam Gambhir, who was just called back in the Indian test squad after two long years was completely ignored.

The BCCI on Thursday announced the ODI squad for the first three matches in the upcoming five-match series against New Zealand.

Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin were rested while Gautam Gambhir, who was just called back in the Indian squad after two long years was completely ignored.

Following players are part of the Indian squad: MS Dhoni (captain), Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, Suresh Raina, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Jayant Yadav, Amit Mishra, Jasprit Bumrah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Umesh Yadav, Mandeep Singh, Kedar Jadhav
