Amid deepening ties, India and Singapore on Tuesday condemned the rising menace of terror while signing three agreements to bolster socio-economic cooperation between the two counties.

Addressing a joint press conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong announced the signing of three agreements, two of which have been designed to promote Modi’s Skill India initiative.

The third MoU signed between India and Singapore pertains to intellectual property rights and is expected to ease business ties while ensuring a flexible flow of ideas between the two powers. Further, Singapore has partnered with the Government of Rajasthan to promote tourism and better waste-management in India’s semi-arid western state.
