This incredible video shows a volcanic eruption as you’ve never seen it before.

The red-hot lava can be seen shooting straight out of the volcano in super high definition, sending sparks flying and lighting up the sky with a red glow.

The video was shot at the Piton de la Fournaise volcano on Reunion Island, a French island in the Indian Ocean – one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

In 2015, the volcano erupted an incredible FOUR times – in May, September, October and December.
