After demonetisation of Rs 500 and 1000 notes, chaos and panic has hit the country. Big banks and metro cities are struggling with a cash crunch, but what about the rural areas and the age old gramin banks in the country?

Deposits are pouring in but the banks have no cash for exchange. At one such bank in the Lalitpur area of Jhansi, the branch manager shares his problems and concerns with The Quint.
