After 117 years, Delhi University’s Hindu College has finally built a women’s hostel. However, students are unhappy.

The college has proposed shallow, restrictive rules for residents and the fees are unfairly high – women residents will have to pay double the amount male residents pay for their hostel accommodation.

Students from Hindu College and members of the student movement Pinjra Tod spoke with The Quint. They’re protesting the college authority’s parochial rules and the ridiculous fees. Here’s what they have to say.
