World Bank Group President, Jim Yong Kim is on a two-day visit to India to explore knowledge and financing opportunities, and also to understand India’s efforts in the fields of renewable energy and nutrition.

He would review the progress of priority areas for the multilateral lending agency, including Smart Cities, Swachh Bharat Mission, Ganga rejuvenation, power for all and Skilling India.

During his visit, Kim will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, a statement from the World Bank said.
