‘Gully Boy’ Public Review: Audiences Rave Over Ranveer & the Music

14 February saw the release of one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer has generated a crazy amount of buzz leading up to its release with the unconventional hip-hop soundtrack taking the streets by storm and cries of the tagline ‘Apna Time Aayega’ being heard on every corner.
Well it looks like film has lived up to the overwhelming expectations as the first audiences had nothing but good things to say. The public loved Ranveer’s performance, his chemistry with Alia, the music, direction and the world of street rap.
There were many chants of ‘Apna Time Ayega’ and more than a few people walked out bitten by the rap bug, wanting to perform themselves.
